In 2021, China-Europe trains operated more than 4,800 trains in total, accounting for more than 30% of the national in total, transporting more than 400,000 TEUs, and returning trains accounting for more than 50%.
At present, the China-Europe train has become the largest number of trips, the highest freight value, the most extensive regional cooperation and the most stable transportation.
On the morning of the 23rd, the X8022 train loaded with 100 TEUs of export goods went to Moscow, the capital of Russia, marking the first launch of the China-Europe train from Lianyungang to Moscow. This line is the second new China-Europe freight train line opened this year after the Lianyungang-Poland train opened this year.
The opening of this line has further enriched the operation lines of the China-Europe freight train and improved the overall capacity of the train, which is of great significance for creating more Lianyungang boutique train lines.
The opening of the China-Europe train line from Lianyungang to Moscow has established another brand-new international logistics channel between Lianyungang and all parts of Europe, providing more convenient transportation conditions for export products such as small commodities and household appliances, as well as imported products such as wood and cotton yarn. It is conducive to promoting the deepening of Sino-Russian economic and trade exchanges.
